Introduction

Dinawan Island is a private and peaceful island located just 20 minutes drive away from Kota Kinabalu city. A quick 15-20 minutes speedboat ride from Sungai Kinarut Jetty will bring you to the ideally serene island with arguably the best sunset view from the amazing Sunset Bay. ‘Peaceful’ and ‘picturesque’ are just some of the comments from our visitors. The white sandy beaches stretches long that promises a spot to bask in the sun undisturbed. The lagoon, with warm turquoise water is just like an infinity swimming pool excellent to splash around in safely; and enjoy swimming, kayaking and even snorkeling as well. Nature lovers will also have the opportunity to explore the island’s lush tropical rainforest and if you are lucky you will be able to see the island’s resident Oriental Pied Hornbill, Hulk and Jasmine flying through the rainforest.

Itinerary

0730~0740am pick up from KK City hotel to Kinarut Jetty.
08:30AM – Arrive at jetty for registration.
09:00AM - Departure from Jetty
09:15AM - Welcome drinks at Ara Dinawan Island
10:00AM – Boat & Shore Snorkeling
12.00PM - Set Lunch
13:00PM – Kayaking
14:30PM - Hi Tea
15:00PM - Depart from Island
15:20PM - Arrival at Jetty. 15:30PM – Return back to Kota Kinabalu at your respective hotel.
