Beginners learn to Scuba Dive through structured Diving Lessons - Gaya Island, Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Day 1 Knowledge Development ~ Learn the Principles and Basic Information of Diving
Pick up from the city hotel at 0930hrs to attend the PADI Open Water Diving Course conducted by a dive instructor using manual (module 1 to 5) and video tapes in a class room. An examination will be conducted on the compulsory detail knowledge on the safety aspects as well as the technique used in diving for leisure or survivor purposes. Upon successful completion of the course which includes the test paper of a theory examination paper, the students will be given a practical lesson the nest day. Normal time of completion of test is at 1500hrs.
In the Confined Water Dives the student will apply the principles learned and practice the diving procedure and skills which corresponds to the 5 modules. Whole the Open Water Dives will complete your training as an entry level diver by applying & developing your knowledge skills in a dive environment under the instructor's supervision and guidance. There will be at least 4 scuba dives during the course.
Day 2 Confined Water Dive One, Two and Three and Open Water Dive One and Two
Pick up from the city hotel at 0930hrs to KK Jetty. Depart to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park for an introduction dive at the beach from 3 feet to 30 feet deep for about an hour depending on the divers. This lesson is conducted by a PADI Certified Instructor.
After lunch, depart by boat for another dive which is approximately 30 feet in depth. Dive around 45 minutes and discover the beauty of the underwater world. Return to the beach for rest and have a shower. At 1600hrs, depart to the KK Jetty and back to the city hotel.
Day 3 Confined Water Dive Four and Five and Open Water Dive Three and Four
Pick up from the city hotel at 0930hrs to KK Jetty. Depart to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park for the first dive at 30 feet deep for about 45 minutes and discover the beauty of the underwater world. The divers will be accompanied by a PADI Certified Instructor. Return to Sapi Island for lunch.
After lunch depart by boat for the second dive which is approximately 50 feet in depth. Dive for around 45 minutes. Return to the beach for a rest and have a shower. At 1600hrs, depart to the KK Jetty and return to the city hotel.
Land and sea transfers, meals as stated, use of diving equipment, accompany by a PADI Certified Instructor & entrance fee.
