Itinerary
Day 1: KOTA KINABALU V- BEIJING (MOB)
Depart Kota Kinabalu at 6:00 PM on an evening flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, meet and greet with our experienced local ground handler who will assist with airport formalities. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel for check-in. Take the remainder of the evening to relax after your journey or explore the nearby surroundings at your leisure. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 2: BEIJING (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square, and the Monument to the People’s Heroes. Continue to the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest ancient palace complex in China. Later, stroll through Wangfujing Street, one of Beijing’s most famous shopping areas filled with modern and traditional shops. Savour lunch and dinner at local restaurants before returning to your hotel for a restful night in Beijing.
Day 3: BEIJING – GUBEI WATER TOWN (B/L)
Enjoy breakfast and check out before travelling to Gubei Water Town, a picturesque ancient village set beside the Simatai Great Wall and Yuanyang Lake Reservoir. Explore attractions including Sima Xiaoshao Distillery, Yonghsun Dyeing House, Yangwudi Temple, and Baqi Hall. Visit the Simatai Great Wall, famed for retaining its original Ming Dynasty appearance (exclude cable car). In the evening, enjoy the Great Wall Water Dance Light Show and UAV Performance (weather permitting). Overnight at Gubei Water Town.
Day 4: GUBEI WATER TOWN - BEIJING (B/L/D)
After breakfast and check-out, return to Beijing. Visit Shichahai Lake Bar Street, known for its scenic lakes and surrounding hutongs, followed by the culturally rich Skewed Tobacco Pouch Street lined with artisan shops. Continue to Gulou East Street, one of Beijing’s oldest commercial districts. Experience its historical charm before heading to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Beijing.
Day 5: BEIJING (B/L/D)
Start the day at Shougang Park, a century-old industrial site transformed into a cultural and Winter Olympics landmark. Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill. Enjoy scenic views before a city drive passing Yuanmingyuan, Da Shu Fa, Olympic Stadium, and National Aquatic Centre. Relish meals at local restaurants before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Beijing.
Day 6: BEIJING (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for good harvests. Stroll along Qianmen Street, a historic commercial area, and explore the stylish Page One Library. Make short stops at Zhengyangmen Archery Tower, the Starbucks Flagship Store, and Yang Mei Zhu Xie Jie. Enjoy lunch and dinner at local restaurants before returning to your hotel for the final night in Beijing.
Day 7: BEIJING – KOTA KINABALU (MOB)
Enjoy breakfast before checking out from the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Transfer to Beijing International Airport for your return flight to Kota Kinabalu, bringing home unforgettable memories of China’s vibrant history, culture, and scenic landscapes. END OF TOUR
